Industrial GSM Alarm Modem

Functionality:

The modem is sending SMS alarm messages (Thai or English) to mobile phones and/or data logger (PC).

The alarm trigger can be anything with a contact, alarm relay or indication lamp.

 

 

Applications:

 - Industrial Auxiliaries in remote locations like pump stations, tanks, compressors etc.

 - Home Security, Security systems in general

 - Vending machines (alarms for empty, power loss, malfunction or in connection with tilting or movement sensors also theft alarm)

 - Electronic Sign Boards (alarms for malfunction or power loss)

 - Gas leak detection

 - 2 SMS messages after power loss without battery (maintenance free)

 - up to 40 phone numbers & alarm messages pre-stored

 - Industrial Aluminum Housing with Din-Rail Clip, removable terminal block

 - 2 x 24Vdc isolated binary inputs (220Vac optional)

Solution 2: Maestro100 GPRS Terminal modem

With this modem and additional OpenAT add-on programming automatic GPRS communication can be established between any number of remote PLC's or controllers and a station in the center. The communication is fully transparent and can be based on any serial protocol or file transfer.

Eventually this solution can be more cost effective, however does require custom tailored software and intensive testing.

Solution 3: Custom tailored integration board

If you are developing your own "black box" we can support you to GSM/GPRS enable your device with one of the following solutions:

 - TELIT TRIZIUM tri-band integration module for direct SMD mounting

 - Trizium adapter board with standard pin-out to plug on to your "black box" board

 - Trizium adapter board with DC/DC converter and RS232 interface with pins or D-Sub socket

 - or any Trizium board custom tailored to your specification

This is for sure the most cost effective solution but does require more effort and initial cost so it's viable only for certain volumes.

SMS alarm messages to inform maintenance, operation, management or a history logger (PC) instantly about problems at plant operation. These solutions have very low installation and operation cost but can avoid much larger production losses through faster flow of information.

SMS alarm solutions are also useful for home or building security.

 

 

Solution 4: Maestro20 GSM Terminal Modem

This solution can be applied where an intelligent controller is available, that can memorize numbers and alarm messages and send them to the modem in the form of AT commands. Most PLC types can do this and any other controller with dial-up capability.

This solution comes with even lower cost, but does need more programming work.
